Mikel Arteta has confirmed during his pre-match press conference that Gabriel Magalhaes is a doubt for Sunday's Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.
The Gunners will take on Palace at the Emirates Stadium, attempting to record a seventh successive win across all competitions, after beating Port Vale, Newcastle, Olympiacos, West Ham, Fulham and Atletico Madrid. Arteta's side sit top of the table, having accumulated 19 points from their opening eight top-flight matches.
In his press conference before this weekend's contest, Arteta was asked about injuries, Eberechi Eze facing his old club and Declan Rice's admission that his position has evolved. So, with that in mind, football.london has rounded up the key points from the Spaniard's chat with the media on Friday;

Arteta has revealed that Gabriel sustained an "issue" during Tuesday's win against Atletico and hasn't been able to train yet going into Sunday's clash with Palace.
"Not much, obviously Big Gabi had to leave the pitch with an issue, and he hasn't been able to train yet, so let's see how he evolves in the next 24 hours, whether he's available or not for the weekend," Arteta started.
When asked about longer-term absentees in Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Arteta added: "They are all progressing really well, they are all starting to do certain activities, they are all super willing to be available as quick as possible, but at the moment none of them are yet in contention in the next week or so."
Rice disagreement Arteta has admitted he doesn't agree with Rice's admission that his position has adjusted with Arsenal this season. Before Tuesday's game against Atletico, the 25-year-old midfielder claimed that Arteta has changed his role to give him more freedom to drop deeper but also get in the box more.
Providing his response to this, Arteta said: "Again, I heard some quotes he made that this season his position has changed a little bit, and I disagree with that. His position has evolved. A player who can bring something else to a team. He has been instrumental in our improvement in that part of the game."
Eze against former clubArsenal midfielder Eze is set to go up against Crystal Palace for the first time since his £67.5million summer move on Sunday. The 27-year-old spent five years at Selhurst Park, scoring 40 goals in 169 appearances.
However, this weekend, he will take on the Eagles as an Arsenal player. Asked how Eze is feeling ahead of a huge game on a personal level for him, Arteta admitted: "It's a big game for us and last season we dropped some points. The focus is on that, for Ebz it will be a very special match. But the focus is on the team."
Adding on what it's like to face a former club, Arteta added: "There is something in your tummy, obviously. There is history, there are a lot of emotions, there are very close relationships.
"In my opinion, once you step in there and you go with that mindset, you have even more will to win. Because, as well, you have made that decision here to be successful and to achieve something else in your career. I'm sure Ebz will be ready for that."
