Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation Limited (UPBC) has presented a great opportunity for the youth dreaming of becoming an engineer. UPBC has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil and Mechanical). Who can apply?
To apply for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil), candidates must have a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. At the same time, a degree in Mechanical Engineering is necessary for Mechanical Engineering candidates. Age limit and relaxation
The age of the candidates applying for this post should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years. However, according to the rules of the UP government, some categories will be given age relaxation.
SC / ST / OBC category candidates will get a maximum relaxation of 5 years.
PWD candidates will be given a relaxation of 15 years.
How will the selection be done?
The selection process will be completely transparent and merit based. First of all, the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score card. After this the merit list will be prepared. Finally, after checking the documents, the eligible candidates will be given appointment.
