IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025: The last date for application for IBPS Clerk 2025 is 28 August. This time, there will be appointments for 10,277 posts. Prelims exam will be held in October and Mains in November. A new pattern has been implemented, under which 155 questions will be asked instead of 190 in Mains.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025: Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has ended the application process for Clerk Recruitment 2025 today. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website www.ibps.in till 28 August. Through this recruitment, appointments will be made for 10,277 posts in various public sector banks.
Last date and exam schedule of application
The last date for the first application was fixed on 21 August, but later it was extended to 28 August. The last date for fee payment and form correction is also today. Candidates can remove their application form by print out till 5 September. The preliminary examination of IBPS Clerk recruitment will be held in October 2025. Candidates passing prelims will get a chance to appear in the Mains Examination held in November 2025.
Qualification and age limit
Candidates receiving a bachelor's degree from a recognized institute are eligible to apply. The age limit is minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. That is, the candidate should not be born before 02 August 1997 and after 01 August 2005. SC/ST class will get 5 years in maximum age and OBC class will get 3 years discount. Apart from this, candidates must have computer knowledge.
Pay scale and selection process
The basic pay of IBPS Clerk (now Customer Service Associate) starts from Rs 24,050 to Rs 64,480. The selection process includes online prelims and online men's exam. Prelims will be 60 minutes in which 100 questions will be asked. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 points on the wrong answer. The final merit will be made only on the basis of the marks of the Mains exam. After this, the local language test of the candidates will also be taken.
Change in exam pattern
This time the IBPS has changed the pattern of Mains exam. Earlier, 190 questions used to come in Mains, now only 155 questions will be asked. There will be 40-40 questions instead of 50 in General and Financial Awareness and Reasoning section. In Quantitative Aptitude, 15 questions have been reduced to 35. The total marks will remain the same as before.
