Lower Judicial Service (Junior Civil Judge / Judicial Magistrate)
Experience: Usually, no experience is required for entry into the Junior Civil Judge / Judicial Magistrate. In many states, fresh law graduates (LLB holders) can directly appear for the Judicial Service Exam.
Qualification: The candidate should have an LLB degree from a recognized university. He should be registered as an advocate in the Bar Council of India. In some states, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 35 years (with relaxation for reserved categories).
Note: In some states, 1-2 years of practice experience may be required, but it is not mandatory.
Higher Judicial Service (District Judge/Additional District Judge)

Supreme Court Judge Qualifications
