He says that today's studies and research programs are becoming outdated so rapidly that by the time a five- to seven-year PhD is completed, both the curriculum and technology have changed.

Memory-based professions are also under threat.
Tarifi believes that fields that rely on memorization, such as medicine, may gradually become irrelevant due to AI. According to him, those in fields that rely solely on memorization will soon be overtaken by AI. He recommends students pursue fields where the use of AI is still in its early stages, such as biology or botany.

Now is the time for skills, not degrees.
Tarifi advises young people to focus on developing practical skills and emotional intelligence rather than formal degrees. According to him, this gives them the ability to learn quickly, adapt to changes, and adopt new technologies, which are crucial in today's world.
