Now, Rishab Shetty starrer upcoming Hindi movie The Pride Of Bharat – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has zeroed in on the main antagonist of the movie i.e. the character of Aurangzeb.

Now, a report has claimed that the makers have roped in Vivek Oberoi to play the lead antagonist in the movie i.e. the character of Aurangzeb.
Sharing the same, a source close to development informed Times Now News, “Vivek Oberoi has been roped in to play Aurangzeb opposite Rishab Shetty’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Sandeep Singh’s upcoming historical epic, The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The casting brings together two powerhouse performers for what promises to be a deeply impactful retelling of one of India’s most iconic chapters.”
The source further added that the upcoming movie plans to highlight the courage of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his devotion to establishing Swarajya.
The movie will also feature Shefali Shah as Jijamata, mother of the Maratha king and will feature an epic face-off between Rishab Shetty and Vivek Oberoi on the big screen.
The Pride Of Bharat – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to hit the screens on January 21, 2027.
Besides The Pride Of Bharat – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Rishab Shetty will also star in Jai Hanuman, the new movie in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe after Hanu-Man.
As for Vivek Oberoi, he will also be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sunny Deol.
