The Maharashtra Directorate of Education has announced that registration for the First Year Junior College (FYJC) Admission 2025 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) Round 2 will commence on July 10, 2025. Students can fill out their application forms on the official website — mahafyjcadmissions.in — until July 13, 2025.
Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: Round 2 Key Details
The Round 2 allotment list will be released on July 17, and students selected for admission will receive SMS notifications on their registered mobile numbers. Those who missed Round 1 or wish to upgrade their choice of stream or college can do so in this round. Candidates are allowed to select up to 10 junior colleges based on their preferences.
Round 2 Admission Schedule
After the allotment results are out, selected candidates must log in between July 18 and July 21 to confirm their admission by uploading documents and completing other formalities. If not completed within this period, the seat may be forfeited. A list of vacant seats will be displayed on July 23, offering another opportunity for students to adjust their choices.

In Round 1, 5,08,096 students confirmed admission. Of these, 4,32,287 were placed via the CAP system, while 75,809 were admitted under various quotas. This year, the admission process is being conducted only for the five major urban regions — Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Nagpur, Amravati, Nashik, and Pune-Pimpri Chinchwad.
