Pushkar, located in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, is generally known for its sacred lake, Brahma temple, and colorful fairs, but this city is also full of natural beauty. Maharaja Waterfall, located in the lap of Pushkar, is one such natural site that comes alive as soon as the monsoon arrives. This waterfall is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, amidst lush green mountains and rocks, which makes it a calm and pleasant place.

Vikram, who came to visit Maharaja Waterfall, said that he is a resident of Ajmer district. He further told that whenever it starts raining in Pushkar, the waterfall flowing on the hills here looks very beautiful and gives a feeling of joy. This waterfall flowing between lush green mountains and rocks blooms with its full beauty in the rainy season, so he comes here every year.
Ideal place for nature lovers
Vikram further said that this waterfall is not only an ideal place for nature lovers, but also a paradise for photographers and adventure lovers. Here you can enjoy a picnic, trekking, or just sit on the banks of the waterfall and spend some peaceful moments in the lap of nature.
This is how you can reach here.
If you reach Ajmer by bus or train, then you can easily get a taxi, local bus, or private vehicle for Pushkar from there. After reaching Pushkar, first of all, you have to come to the main bus stand. Maharaja Waterfall is about 3 km from here. To cover this distance, you can take the help of an auto, e-rickshaw, bike, or taxi, which are available locally. This ride will drop you off at the trekking point of the waterfall. The journey after this is a bit thrilling and beautiful. From here onwards, you have to climb the hills on foot.
