Under the Bharatiya Janata Party's public outreach initiative, the "Janata Darbar" featuring Maharashtra’s Minister for Fisheries and Ports Development, Mr. Nitesh Rane, was held on Monday at the BJP state headquarters.
During the Janata Darbar, Minister Rane personally interacted with people from various parts of Maharashtra, listening to their grievances and addressing issues related to fisheries and port development. He instructed the concerned officials to act promptly on the concerns raised and to ensure immediate resolution.
Citizens were encouraged to submit their issues in written form. All petitions were duly accepted, and Minister Rane assured that every effort would be made to resolve the problems without delay.
Speaking at the event, Minister Rane said, “Today’s Janata Darbar was dedicated to the Department of Fisheries and Ports under the BJP ministers’ outreach program. We received petitions from citizens across the state. With fisheries now receiving agricultural status, there is widespread happiness among the fishing communities. Many have come here today just to express their gratitude. This Janata Darbar stands as a testament to our government’s commitment to being people-oriented and efficient.”
