Prayagraj: In a shocking case of human trafficking, a teenage girl from Prayagraj narrowly escaped being trafficked abroad. She was allegedly taken to Kerala under false promises of employment, where she was subjected to isolation and training intended to prepare her for exploitative servitude overseas.
According to the minor's testimony, she was lured by an acquaintance under the pretext of a job opportunity and transported from Prayagraj to Kerala. There, she was held in a small room alongside other girls and forced to undergo rigorous, restrictive training. The environment was tightly controlled, with punishments meted out even for minor infractions.
