He used to go to the neighbours' houses in Gokul with his friends to steal butter and used to break the pot and eat it with his friends.

The gopis of Gokul were annoyed with Krishna's mischief, after which they started hanging the pots at a height. Then Krishna along with his friends would form a group and break the pots like a human pyramid and eat butter.
