A loud bang led to some local residents thinking a gas explosion had occurred. One told UK News In Pictures: "I thought something had exploded, it shook the windows."

Reports say Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were also in attendance and that individuals were treated at the scene, strapped to spinal boards, immobilised and taken to a major trauma centre.
The road was closed off in both directions following the incident as experts work to assess the damage including the structural integrity of the house and whether the local gas supply was damaged.
The Mirror has approached the Metropolitan Police, the London Ambulance Service London Fire Brigade for comment.
