The biography of Freddie Mercury's secret love child has been met with harsh criticism as fans doubt the credibility of his secret daughter's claims. The book, written by Lesley-Ann Jones, is titled Love, Freddie, which is a culmination of his personal diaries, allegedly given to his daughter before his death in 1991.
Along with the biography, Lesley-Ann is also set to release a Channel 5 documentary, which, according to reports, is currently being filmed in Switzerland. The documentary has a release date of September 5.
And while many have embraced the fact that Freddie had fathered a child, there are some who doubt the validity of the claims. According to the MailOnline, some of Freddie's former staffers have been criticising Lesley-Ann, with one former associate reportedly writing in a group chat: "I don’t understand why he didn’t leave his only child something in his will.

"I’m not saying it’s a crock, but as it’s the [SLUR DELETED] writing yet another book about a dead person, the facts are not looking good at the moment."
Peter Freestone, who was Freddie's personal assistant at the time for 12 years until the singer's death, has also hit out at claims that the star had left diaries to his love child. He said: "I never saw any diaries. I never saw any child. I’m not saying they don’t exist... It was a surprise to me when I heard. Very much."
And while his bandmate and legendary guitarist Brian May remained silent over the allegations, his wife and former EastEnders star Anita Dobson spoke out. She had said: "I think there have always been rumours. The person to ask would be his [Freddie’s] sister, Kashmira. But even then, I think, sometimes if people keep secrets, they do really keep those secrets."
And the author Lesley-Ann also commented on the allegations. She has said: "There are a lot of extremely nasty comments being made, and some people are trying to discredit the book."
She added: "What I would say is that the real inner circle, the other members of Queen, and Freddie’s sister, would have denied this if they could, weeks ago, when the story broke."
The book reportedly states that Freddie "accidentally fathered the child" and is only referred to as B.
