Manchester United's forgotten defender, Tyrell Malacia, has sent a clear message to bossRuben Amorimthat he's ready for action, sharing snaps of his solo training sessions.
Malacia's time at United has been nothing short of disastrous since being signed by Erik ten Hag as his first-choice full-back. The 26 year old's career was derailed by a knee injury in 2023, which saw him sidelined for an astonishing 500 days.
During his lengthy lay-off, Malacia missed out on 70 United games and by the time he was fit again, Ten Hag had left the club. Under Amorim's new three-at-the-back system, with two wing-backs, Malacia found it hard to secure a spot.

In January, PSV Eindhoven took Malacia on loan where he managed to clock up 12 appearances.
However, come season end, there was no interest in making the move permanent and he returned to Carrington.
Back at United, Malacia joined the so-called 'Bomb Squad' alongsideAlejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Marcus Rashford.
But while the others all secured moves away, Malacia was left in limbo.
A potential switch to Elche fell through and Eyupspor's bid to sign Malacia outside the English transfer window was turned down by the player himself.
With the Turkish and Saudi transfer windows now closed, Malacia looks set to stay put at United until at least January.
Despite being registered for the Premier League, Malacia hasn't made the bench for United this season. Nevertheless, he's keeping his fitness levels high, ready to step in if needed.
On Instagram, the Dutchman is seen training at non-league Trafford FC, going through drills. However, it appears that Malacia will continue to be sidelined until he is transferred.
