A young girl was forced into a car and near a school withpolice appealing for information having given out a description of the driver.
Witnesses are being sought following the attempted kidnapping that took place in Harlow, Essex, last week, with the girl understood to have escaped during the terrifying incident. The youngster was put in a grey Audi A4 in First Avenue, near the Mark Hall Academy, between 3pm and 3.45pm on Friday (July 4). She was initially driven away but managed to get out by herself and seek help. Detectives from Harlow CID are investigating the incident and the individuals involved.
The driver of the car was described as wearing a black Nike tracksuit and had gingery brown hair, and officers are looking to trace him and the vehicle.

Detective Inspector Clare Lawrence of Essex Police said detectives are seeking to identify the driver and the car involved while also offering support to the girl and her family, Essex Live reports.
She said: “I know this incident has caused concern within the community. Incidents like this are actually really rare but we know it can be worrying to see, hear, and read about the details.
"My team is working hard to identify the vehicle and the people involved. We’re also safeguarding the girl and supporting her and her family.
"I believe there will have been a number of people in the area at the time this incident happened and think someone will have seen something that will help our investigation. If that’s you, I need you to come forward.”
A statement from Essex Police - Harlow District on Facebook read: "It was reported the girl was forced into a grey Audi A4 in First Avenue, near the Mark Hall Academy, between 3pm and 3.45pm on Friday 4 July.
"Detectives from Harlow CID are investigating the incident and working to establish what led up to it. The driver of the car was described a man wearing a black Nike tracksuit and had gingery brown hair."
