Manchester United icon Paul Scholes has confessed that he finds it difficult to celebrate Marcus Rashford's impressive displays for Barcelona. The homegrown talent netted his maiden goal for the Catalan club in the Champions League as his brace helped sink Newcastle.
The forward also provided an assist during the weekend's commanding 3-0 triumph against Getafe, extending his encouraging beginning since departing Old Trafford on loan. Rashford had fallen out of favour under Ruben Amorim and was shipped out on a temporary deal to Aston Villa last season.
His showings for Unai Emery's outfit secured his recall to the England squad after slipping down the hierarchy under Thomas Tuchel's predecessor, Gareth Southgate.
While Scholes acknowledged Rashford's ability, he criticised the 27-year-old's approach during his troublesome period with United.
"There's no doubt the talent that kid has got, it's ridiculous, he's shown up in a big game, and that second goal was brilliant," he said speaking on podcast. "I really struggled to feel happy for him, to feel pleased for him.

Last week Rashford was reportedly punished by Barcelona, having been dropped from the team to play Getafe because he turned up late to a training session. However, he came off the bench to provide an assist en route to victory.
