Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet did not make an appearance on the first series of With Love, Meghan back in March, with fans eagerly awaiting to see if they will appear on the second series of Meghan Markle's show. Released on Netflix tomorrow, the eight-part show sees Meghan making a host of delicious food with different friends throughout the series.
Meghan shares Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with Prince Harry. The couple are said to be extremely protective parents and have, apart from Meghan's rare Instagram posts, kept details and pictures of Archie and Lilibet out of the spotlight. According to PR expert Rhea Freeman, Archie and Lilibet will likely not make an appearance in this series for one major reason.
Speaking to the Express, Ms Freeman said: "I would be really surprised is Lilibet and Archie appeared in this series in any really meaningful way - and this isn't a criticism, it's based on what Harry and Meghan have shown us of the children online in recent years.
"If we look at Meghan's Instagram, for example, we sometimes see the back of the children's heads, and there have been images of them as tiny babies, but when there's a shot shared showing the children's faces, they are obscured with an emoji."
She said there's one big reason the couple is keeping their children "protected and safe." She explained: "Both Harry and Meghan have also been very vocal about the dangers of children on social media, and although this is TV vs. Social media, it still gives the children additional exposure to the public in a way that makes them recognisable.
"With the criticism the couple have faced, and the regular mentions around security, not showing the children's faces on TV makes perfect sense as a way to help keep them more protected and safe."
The last post that included Archie and Lilibet on Meghan's Instagram was posted in honour of Father's Day in June.
The sweet video shows moments, likely captioned by Meghan of the family's "favourite guy" with their children.
Although Meghan will post pictures of their faces covered, in some clips you can see their son's face.
