If you're looking to add some Autumn colour to your garden, there's no better way to do it than planting some new flowers. You might think it's a bit late in the year to start planting but experts say there's certain blooms which will thrive if you plant them now.

Rather than let your garden start to look dull and drab as Autumn rolls around, you can turn things around with these vibrant plants.

This classic flower will add an orange hue to your outdoor space adding character and colour.

Ideal Home says that if you live in an area that suffers from cold wet winters, you should plant your lavender in pots. By doing this, you can move it to protect it in bad weather.
