The 2025 IPL final is set to commence at 7:30 PM IST at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Punjab Kings in the summit clash as both teams look to put an end to their quest for a maiden IPL crown. RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, reached the final with a resounding win over PBKS in Qualifier 1, where they beat Shreyas Iyer-led Punjab for a whopping 8 wickets and 10 overs to spare.

RCB's opponents in the final, Punjab, clawed their way back into the final after the initial loss to RCB, after going through Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2. PBKS are riding on the back of a thrilling win over MI while chasing a target of 204. No matter the result on Tuesday, history will be scripted in the final. Neither RCB or PBKS have tasted victory in the final. While Bengaluru have reached the final but lost on three separate occasions, Punjab haven't done the same since 2014.

Mumbai Indians, who fell in Qualifier 2 have won the competition a record five times, a feat only matched by Chennai Super Kings. Kolkata Knight Riders have won the top prize thrice, with their most recent win coming in 2024. Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers, and Gujarat Titans have each won the IPL once.
