JAMMU : An eight-year-old boy was crushed to death by a rashly driven SUV when he and his father were returning home from their agriculture field in Gharota area on the outskirts of Jammu Sunday evening, prompting police to trace and arrest the absconding accused Monday.
“The critically injured child, Harsh Singh, was rushed to Jammu’s Government Medical College, where doctors declared him dead," police said.
The bereaved family members and locals had protested outside Gharota police station on Sunday night, demanding immediate arrest of the accused, Rakesh Sharma.
