NBA veteran Michael Redd wonders about the real reason behind Stephen Curry’s appearance on Mind the Game podcast Stephen Curry’s appearance announcement on LeBron James’ Mind the Game podcast has generated vast reactions from fans and members of the NBA community. Legend Michael Redd has raised certain questions about the upcoming collaboration. Reposting the announcement on X, Redd wrote, “This is amazing, for fans, and a big win for LJ/Uninterrupted, so it's also curious.” He further wrote, “There is little that happens amongst icons without backroom business/agreements. Both these men are giants and, also, have media companies. Is LJ going to return the favor and jump on a SC/Unanimous production? Are they going to co-produce something? Is there a bigger play in place?”
However, Redd did not leave out the possibility that the appearance might just be another casual discussion between James and Curry. Curry might just have decided to do James a favor. He added, “Or did Steph just decide to go ahead and do LJ, and by extension Uninterrupted , a solid?” Redd continued, “After all, SC's appearance on a pod is potentially worth up to seven figures in revenue, between distro deals (Amazon, in this case), secondary revenue (YT payout, etc.), and ad sales.”
Towards the end, Redd wrote, “Interested in the content AND interested in the biz behind the content!”
